Jennifer Helms, FNP-BC, ENP-C

Biography
Jennifer was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia. She graduated from E.C. Glass High School in 1995. After high school, she married and began raising her three children. In 2008, she graduated from Lynchburg General Hospital School of Nursing. She started working as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Lynchburg General Hospital. She continued her career for 12 years and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama.  

In 2020, she graduated from dual-specialty program at Vanderbilt University with a Master of Science in Nursing. Jennifer is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner & Emergency Nurse Practitioner. She has experience in urgent care, acute and chronic conditions, and critical care. Jennifer is passionate about the preventive health and the future well-being of this community. Her goals are to provide high-quality and efficient care and she strives to improve the patient experience in healthcare. 

Jennifer currently lives in Forest, Virginia with her husband and three grown children. When she is not in the office, you will likely find her with her family, playing with her pets, coaching indoor soccer, camping at the beach, or working outside in her yard.
